The function of the Staff Employee Recognition Committee is to review nominations, verify eligibility, and work performance in order to make recommendations to the President the selection of the monthly and annual recipients of the employee recognition award. The Commitee also reviews nominations and selects the quarterly recipient of the Texas State Team Recognition Award.  The committee also reviews and recommends new recognition proposals for approval by the President's Cabinet.
