Mission

Environmental, Health, Safety, Risk and Emergency Management is here to support Texas State University's education, research, and service mission by reducing injuries, accidents, environmental impact, and regulatory risk.

What We do

EHSREM staff provide technical expertise and guidance on safety and compliance to departments, staff, faculty, and students of Texas State University. Our goals are to assist the campus community with developing and implementing training, providing support for emergency response, and ensuring the safety of those on campus

Vision

To work with students, faculty, and staff to continuously improve the university's safety culture by empowering our community to learn and work safely. 

Our Team

Our staff can be found conducting inspections, assisting with event coordination, and compiling regulatory reports.
